Here is a spectacular 12-fret Martin 00-45 guitar made by the Custom Shop in 2003. This guitar is in like new, unplayed condition and has no issues. Serial # is 954642.
It has a premium grade Adirondack spruce top with Adirondack scalloped 1/4" Golden Era spec braces. The back and sides are of the highest grade (D4) Brazilian rosewood. The neck and bridge are ebony. The solid mahogany neck has a modified V shape and measures 1 3/4" at the nut, and has a 24.9" scale length. The fingerboard inlay is the Tree of Life. The ends of the bridge are inlaid with abalone 4-point snowflakes. The Brazilian rosewood headstock overlay is inlaid with a Martin script logo in abalone. The nut, saddle, bridge pins, and end pin are made of fossilized mammoth or walrus ivory, and the pins are inlaid with black pearl dots.
This is an incredible sounding guitar with surprising volume, balance, and clarity. A fingerpicker's guitar with extraordinary tone, and looks to die for. The action is low, the neck is straight, there is no wear on the frets, and the neck angle is perfect. The saddle has plenty of height to adjust lower.
Finally, included with this Martin is a Hoffee carbon fiber flight case that is in mint condition and would normally cost over $1000 new. Please see the original factory build sheet included with the photographs to see the complete list of factory specifications for this fine guitar.
