Stephen Kinnaird FS-12-Cocobolo cutaway, sunburst-2009
Product Description
Here is a beautiful Stephen Kinnaird model FS-12 cutaway guitar made in 2009. This guitar is in mint condition with no scratches, dings, or cracks on the wood. There are a few light scratches on the clear pickguard, but no scratches elsewhere on the guitar. This is a spectacular sounding and playing instrument. It is the first Kinnaird I have ever had in my hands, and I am quite impressed by its sound and its overall quality. It shines as a fingerstyle guitar, and responds with great balance and volume when flat picked. The guitar has great clarity in every range, and responds well if played softly or if driven hard. Stephen Kinnaird has been building guitars for over 40 years out of his shop in Nacogdoches, TX. If you are contemplating the purchase of this fine guitar, you can find out more about this builder on his website, by googling his name. You can also hear a nice sound clip of this guitar on You Tube by searching for: "Guitar Gallery presents Stephen Kinnaird FS-12." Guitar Gallery sold this guitar in 2014, to the current owner whom I am representing for this consignment sale. The You Tube video also has many detailed photographs in addition to the photos I have taken for this Reverb listing. This guitar with its many custom options would retail if ordered from Mr. Kinnaird for over $9500.00. Here are some specifics about this fine instrument.
